Mic Becker is a New York based photographer originally from St. Louis, Missouri. He started his work in 2006 while living in Los Angeles and traveling the world photographing such bands as Living Things, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Eagles Of Death Metal, The Cult, Warpaint, and Mumford and Sons among others. Largely working on location, with natural light, and film he has developed a style with his surreal documentation of life. His photos have been featured in Dazed and Confused, Thvm Rag, and LA Weekly. While living in Los Angeles in 2009 he collaborated with Thvm Atelier as guest editor and photographer for Thvm Rag Issue #2. Along with photographing over the years such artist and persons as Floria Sigismondi, Javier Peres, Sam Spenser, Eliot Lee Hazel, Ishi Glinsky(1451), David Michael, and Dr. Cornel West.
